Strila ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Strila mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
When you use Strila, we collect the following types of information:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information from those services.
Workout Data: We collect information you provide when logging workouts, including exercise details, dates, photos, and the workout spots you visit.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect your precise location to show nearby workout spots and enable location-based features like the Discover feed and group workouts. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
Photos: When you add photos to workouts or your profile, those images are uploaded and stored on our servers.
Music Information: If you use the Song of the Workout feature, we access Apple Music metadata (song title and artist name) through MusicKit. We do not access your full music library or listening history.
Device Information: We collect your device's push notification token to deliver notifications. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.
Usage Data: Firebase automatically collects basic analytics data such as app opens, screen views, and crash reports to help us improve the app.

Your profile name, photo, and public workouts are visible to your friends within the app. If you enable the "Show in Discover" setting, your public workouts may also be visible to nearby athletes who are not your friends.

Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Location: You can disable location access in your device's Settings app at any time. Some features (nearby spots, Discover feed) will be limited without location access.
Notifications: You can manage push notification preferences in your device's Settings app.
Discover Visibility: You can control whether your public workouts appear in the Discover feed via the "Show in Discover" toggle in Settings.
Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). This removes your profile, workouts, photos, ratings, friend connections, and group workout participation.
Strila is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy within the app or on this page. Your continued use of Strila after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
