Welcome to Strila. By creating an account or using the Strila mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Strila is a fitness app that lets you discover workout spots, log training sessions, and connect with other athletes. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. We ask for your date of birth when you set up your profile, and we do not create profiles for anyone under 13.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You retain ownership of the content you create on Strila, including workouts, photos, comments, notes, and ratings ("Your Content"). By posting content on Strila, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute Your Content within the App and on strila.app for the purpose of operating and improving the service. A photo you attach to a spot may appear on that spot's public page on strila.app, so that a shared link shows the place.
You are responsible for Your Content. You agree not to post content that:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, at our sole discretion.
Strila is a community. You agree to treat other users with respect.
You can report any post, comment, note, spot, or profile from the "…" menu in the App, and you can block users to prevent them from appearing in your feed. We review every report within 24 hours. Content that violates these Terms is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended or terminated. A suspended account can no longer sign in.
When you create an account, Strila connects you with its founder so that your feed is not empty on day one. You can remove that connection like any other friend.
Workout spots listed on Strila are contributed by the community, imported from public map data, and rated by the people who train there. We do not own, operate, inspect, or guarantee the safety of any location shown in the App. You are solely responsible for your own safety when visiting any workout spot. Always check the equipment and conditions before you train, and use them at your own risk.
A spot marked "Featured" is one we think is worth a visit. It is not an inspection, an endorsement of the equipment, or a statement about safety.
We respect the intellectual property of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on Strila infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at support@strila.app that includes:
We remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice, tell the user who posted it, and give them the opportunity to send a counter-notice. We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. Filing a knowingly false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages.
The Strila name, logo, and the App's design, code, and features are owned by Strila and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Some workout spots are sourced from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, and made available under the Open Database License. Some spot names come from the Overture Maps Foundation. Those spots are marked in the App, and anyone can correct their details.
Strila uses third-party services including Firebase (Google), Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Apple Maps, and Apple MusicKit. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, workouts, photos, ratings, notes, friend connections, and session participation. This action cannot be undone.
We strive to keep Strila available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you which version this is, and the App records which version you accepted and when. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the App. Your continued use of Strila after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Strila is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strila and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or data loss.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
